Build Thread The Hoopty Chronicles - New House, New garage, New Car?

Silicon grommets and you might be on to something. :chin

Edit: No fan though. I don't think you'll need it with your fan wash. Can you insulate that top piece from the rest of the box? You can even leave a gap on the edge.

My granddaughter born December 6th. Congratulations on the baby!

Car will be there waiting for you so don’t fret about it. Enjoy the journey!
I tried to think of something 'cute' to say but I just can't get past that kid.
You could trade that in on a littenfelder corvette straight up!

Got the MS modded for the dis. Got 4 spark outputs and the crank/cam input set up.

@a91what i have the crank trigger going to VR+ and not OP+. Does that sound right?
That sounds right. Vr+ and - for crank sensor cam should go into vr2 inputs if it is 2 wire I believe. I will need to check the manual if there is a discrepancy.

I had some issues with my conversion the first time around. What I found was the tfi circuit built into the adapter board was bleeding voltage to ground. Remove the resistors for the tfi circuit on the BOB and problem solved.

That’s what bugs me about MS. There’s so much info out there that all says different things. The manual says use VR+/- and ground (3 wire). The guy that sold me the cam sync says use VREF and SGD for my +/- leads. I find info that supports both. So maybe it doesn’t matter?!

For what it’s worth, I’ve got the cam sync going to VREF and SGD, signal to VR2

I’ll give it all a try. If it starts on the first go, I’m buying a Lotto ticket
