Engine 1988 CA mass air GT hesitation 3000rpm and higher

When you say no codes, are you getting an 11 koeo and are you letting it go through the koer codes?


So I got a 11 with car off and got a code 12 with it running. How do you do the cylinder balance test. Do I need to full throttle it after the engine on test are complete? The manual I have said to part throttle it but that did not seem to work.
 
So I checked the TPS voltage it had .98 and WOT it only has 3.0 to 3.4. It fluctuates each time I read it. Could the TPS cause the slight hesitation I'm getting? I read the TPS is suppose to be 4.5 to 4.8 at WOT

Never mind I rechecked it and it was fine. I was not getting a good reading

You're the one that missed it. He doesn't have an ECU for a 1992 Lincoln, but he's using the MAF & sensor from one. You said it yourself: "... injector sizing is done in the computer’s internal programming...". He doesn't have have an ECU from a '92 Lincoln.
 
That Theread in the pic on 70mm Mass are said that sensor came on all those cars and will work. I found the same sensor on a 94 3.8 mustang. Are you just saying it won't work on my specific computer?

Look before you leap....
Ford used the same MAF body and sensor on multiple cars...

94-95 Mustang GT MAF - $40-$100. It is 70 MM instead of the stock 55 MM on regular stangs built prior to 94. It uses a slip on duct on the side that goes to the throttle body and a 4 bolt flange on the other. You need a flange adapter to fit the stock slip on air ducting that goes to the air box. Wiring plugs right in with no changes. *1 *2

Once your replacement 70MM MAF is in place, disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes. When you reconnect the battery and start the engine, the computer will relearn the settings for the new MAF.

The 94-95 Mustang 5.0 MAF & sensor is also found on:

Evidently the –A1A, -A2A, AA, etc. on the end of the part number is a minor variant that did not change the operating specs. You should be able to ignore it and have everything work good.

The F2VF MAF is also used on the 1994 Mustang V6, and the 1994 Mustang GT and the 1994 Mustang Cobra. All different injector sizes.
