It was a mild case of mildew. Cleaned off easily. Happens sometimes in garage storage that's not climate controlled.
that IS a little mold, had on mine too when I got it easily cleaned off and sanitized

Thanks for the tip. Haven't looked at the engine compartment yet but floors are extremely clean and don't even have any surface rust.Check for the dreaded frame rail rust in engine compartment and under neath first.

Check thermostat housing with two rubber hoses, throttle body hoses, as well as heater coreAn issue that I could use some help with... the dreaded coolant disappearing .
Radiator leak down shows slow leak somewhere but no visible signs of liquid anywhere including heater core. Block combustion test (blue fluid gismo on radiator) was good. Could be some white smoke coming from drivers side exhaust. Hard to tell in cold weather.
If it is exiting the pipes, am I left with either intake or head gasket issue?

Agreed!AlI can say is you're one lucky SOB. After an inspection I couldn't have got money out fast enough!
