Best RWL Tires For a 1971 Mach 1 that will be driven?

I just got a Mint Condition 71 Mach 1, and trying to learn the ropes, to keep it authentic, but drive it... It needs new 14" RWL Tires, and I am seeking information on a good tire that can handle the weight and Performance. Does anyone recommend a good Radial for this car?

14" tires? Really? I have 15's on my 68 Fastback. Your choices are pretty narrow due to your rim size. I put a set of Goodrich TA's on my car last summer. Check with Tire rack. You don't have many options especially if you want RWL's. The TA's are nice tires. My only bitch with them is the white letters discolor and are real tough to make white again. I am tempted to go black side walls rather than deal with these white letters.

Thanks for the advice. I have the TA on my short list. The original tires on this car, were either Goodyear, or Firestone, and neither make a 14” that fits it, anymore. I’ll probably go with the TA.
