Hey! You said under its own power!
I like the M report, fun to loook at, 2:73 traction lock and AM FM Cassette! and Early!
Or maybe it was a showroom baby? In any case, it seems it's lived a neglected life - including myself - for the last however many years. I'm hoping to start changing that in the next year or so.
Since I posted this earlier and it popped up in my Facebook memories that I shared with my family and friends, here are a few pics of the vert before I got that "new" top installed. Apparently I put that top on a year ago today......

The tattered boxes you see are the new top that I bought.....

Is that a missing trim piece or just rusty metal from the door window frame?

I guess that's kind of my question.... I mean I know my 84 had a weird looking piece of trim that went around the mirror in that area. But they changed the mirrors for 87, then again in 89(?) when they went with the door mounted mirrors that most people try to swap to. So if there's a piece of trim that belongs there, it's like a 1 or 2 year thing.....![]()

Dude... stop dicking around and get a good 3d printer that prints in ABS.
Then all you gotta' do is learn to 3d model and done.
You think there should be a trim piece there? There should be a trim piece there.![]()
Booooooooooooooooring.
You're supposed to build a whole other room, spend $10k on computers and 3d printing gear and materials so that you can print two plastic pieces the size of your index finger.![]()
