Actually, now that I think of it, there used to be a site that had garages similar to that. I used to get on there in the early 2000's, then it faded away like MySpace did.... it was something like Autotopia or Motortopia or something.... Autotopia domain is now gone, Motortopia is now something different, so I don't know if I'm remembering correctly (damned this getting older and senile 
... ) - they used to also have something like a garage of the week or month or something where members voted. I don't remember too much of it now, but there was some interaction involved. I don't remember there being any kind of forum setup though....
