Blow through intercooled questions

Hello, I am about to purchase a v3-si vortech supercharger for my 2004 mustang gt, I have a couple questions on my intercooled setup items and locations. First I am looking for 370whp and in the future build the bottom end for 500whp. my questions are...

is it worth getting an aftermarket throttle body, will a supercharged intercooled setup fit with the stock throttle body size?
is a powerpipe worth the investment, and should the maf go before or after the powerpipe I know it needs to be a straight section of piping/honeycombed for accurate readings.
Do i need to splice wires in my maf sensor connector in order do run a separate iat sensor and where do i need to put the iat sensor on my intercooler system (powerpipe?) to function properly.
should i buy a cx racing intercooler kit, will the intercooler bottleneck a powerpipe with maxing out air cfms. I like the cx racing kit because if comes with all piping mounting brackets and oil cooler relocation, it seems the most simple install. But I dont want the cx racing blow off valve. can I replace it with a 50mm tialq bov and have it bolt right on. or should i just fabricate a new bov location before the maf sensor.

Forgive me this was a quick write up of questions trying to dial in the last few items before i purchase. My first supporting mods purchase will be the intercooler setup then i will know where i need to fit all of my sensors in after that.
 
Throttle body - yes, a 75 or even 90 (if BIG HP is the goal) are absolutely worth the upgrade. Do the upper plenum while at it. Accufab if you can still find them. The stock tb is a bottleneck now, it will be a bigger one with more hp.

MAF placement needs to be in the straightest tube fore/aft. What maf are you running?

For IAT: Again, what maf are you running - some have a built in IAT and your 04 gt should have an integrated IAT- but you can cut and remote mount it. Usually between the maf and tb.

Power pipe could help but for the cost if you're able to fab you can do the same thing a whole lot cheaper. That goes the same for the cx kit. I've never ran it but if its a big 2/3 core intercooler it should suffice those power levels. Your goal is as few connections as possible (less boost leak opportunities).

I'd suggest t-bolt clamping everything while it's all apart. Way better than worm gear drive clamps and if you're looking for 500, I have to assume that means more boost.

Stupid of me to not put which maf i am going for. pmas 3 inch blow thru hpx maf.
It should be plug and play with the three inch intercooler piping. which ill need to find a 75mm throttle body for it. is a new intake plenum worth the 350 bucks?

So i might try and just get the cx racing intercooler with the oil cooler, and get a universal piping kit with those to bolt clamps you mentioned. instead of spending 800 dollars on the full kit with blow off valve that i dont need etc.

I am no fabricator unfortunately. is it just a 4 or 3.5" pipe with two 135 degree bends and a 90 degree coupler?

For the iat I will keep it integrated less work for me!

So i just looked at a thread for a custom make power pipe and it looks easy enough, ill be doing that thank you!
 
The stock upper plenum is a bottleneck just like the tb. You should be able to scour marketplace or ebay for a used accufab/c&l/trickflow. I think bbk makes a 78mm tb/plenum combo that's probably ok.

And yes, its just some straight tubes, some bend, and some couplers. Nothing too crazy at least my old procharger with a 3 core intercooler wasn't anything crazy. A bit intimidating the first time you assemble it but after putting on/off etc a few dozen times and a few more engine swaps it just tubes and connectors. lol
 
ok ill look around for some used plenums and throttle bodies. I'm leaning more towards the side of complete custom piping and power pipes, seems like a fun challenge, I have a miter saw at home and a friend that can probably went my bov together. Appreciate the info.
