We have a 2 gallon fuel tank ,should be plenty of fuel for a break in. Cut out the hole for the radiator cap . I may pick up the gauges if I have time today .
Can any one remember when a gauge set had a metal backing and not just a cheap pile of expensive plastic crap?
Got the gauges in but forgot s universal key switch so another trip to Autozone !

My radiator is a perfect fit ,the cap just barely clears . I have some 18 gauge expanded metal I want to put in front ,just to keep any flying wrenches from going through the radiator !
Anti thrown wrench screen is in place . Picked up the key switch and a red light ,the light is to remember to turn the key off ,I fried a dist. Modual on my small block stand because I forgot to turn the key off when it ran out of gas .
It's starting to look better ,now I just have to make the motor mounts ,I figure 1 1/4 between the fan and radiator should be enough space for the fan .
Now to make the motor mounts. They will be solid for now ,if i have to put a different motor on it I can cut the mounts and make addapters .
