Well, it was nice for about a week....

Left the house and there were 3 or 4 cats in the road on the outskirts of town. I saw them and figured one would run out in front of me, and it did. I was able to miss him easy enough. Then, not a minute later, as soon as I hit 60, a damned raccoon ran out of the bushes right in front of me. He wasn't so lucky.... hit him and drug him a short distance before I heard the clunk of him being left behind. Finished the drive about 20 minutes later and took a look - he broke the front bumper cover just left of center at the bottom. I didn't spend a lot of time looking and no pics yet, but I may now need that front cover that I didn't order.... :fuss:

Mr raccoon did a little more damage than just the front cover. :fuss:

Crawled under it when I got home, the radiator support is pushed back there too. Could tell something wasn't quite right by the headlight gap around the cover and the hood not quite lining up. On a positive note, I do have full coverage on it. The question remains on what they'll decide to do about it since it already has a rebuilt title.....

Hauled the Scion into the body shop last Wednesday, they called on Friday afternoon and said it's ready to go. So after I get up tomorrow afternoon I'll hook the trailer up again and go pick it up. Side note: upgraded the trailer again - just added stabilizer jacks to the back. The trailer popped a bit when the back of the car was off and the ramps jumped off the lip. Ended up smacking the bottom of the front bumper cover on the back of the trailer to get it unloaded. That's happened twice now with these new ramps, so I figured I'd eliminate the trailer movement from the equation.
