    Belt/Tensioner? (pic)

Upon installing a trickflow ac delete, my belt seems to be riding the outer edge of my tensioner, wearing a little on the belt's edge. Runs fine and doesn't come off or anything, I'd just rather it be more centered. Leave it alone or try to space out my tensioner with a washer or two?

    Trickflow AC delete kit?

Does the trickflow version of the AC delete kit just relocate the tensioner? It looks like it just relocates the tensioner to the right, leaving the P/S pump where it is, can anyone confirm?

Need a link (or a name) Low oil sensor

I'm trying to replace my low oil sensor that's toward the bottom on the side of the oil pan in my 87 GT. I've found it before but I guess I'm calling it the wrong thing on the parts house website. Need another name for it or a part number from Orellys, Advance, or the Zone. Thanks!

    Gotta love Summit!

Because of where I live, as long as I order before 7pm it is at my doorstep before 11am the next morning. Sure is a big help considering I just found out at lunch today that I'd have time to install it tomorrow. Plus I got a 25.00 summit bucks thing in the mail. After shipping was tacked on...

    10 Bucks!

Mac 1-5/8 shortys. Yea they look awful but they'll get sandblasted and painted at work. I know the separated flanges are prone to warping and a tough install but I test fitted them with all the bolts on a set of E7's I had in the garage and they lined up fine. Not bad for 10 bucks if you ask me...

    Cardone computers? (pic)

Anyone ever used one? Got one for 60.00 at the parts house and turned in some junkyard taurus EEC as the core (lol) I pulled the generic sticker off it as you can see and it pulled some of the writing off but there lies A9P labeling for my AOD They just reprogram the old cores?

    Braking issue...

87 GT Stock brakes When I'm stopped at a light holding the brake pedal, it slowly inches it's way down and I find myself rolling forward...like it's losing it's prime. I have to take it almost all the way to the floor and then kinda pump it if I'm at a light too long. Accelerate and go to...

    PCV screen (pics)

Look at this pcv screen I took out of a mustang I just bought. (Sorry for the blur) The hole in the middle is where I ran a screw in to pull it out Might help with my oil puking out of my filler neck and the valve cover leak.

    Hatch lock cylinder?

In my 87 GT is the truck lock cylinder the same for a hatch/coupe? I need to order one and it is described as trunk but technically it's a hatch but wasn't sure if that mattered. TRUNK LOCK CYLINDER trunk lock cylinder bright 1985-1988 - CJ Pony Parts, Inc.

    A9P computer equivalent?

For an 87 GT AOD that I'm converting to mass air, can someone confirm the equivalent of an A9P in a cardone non-cali AOD? I'm getting mixed results, most commonly a 78-5611?

    Idle Mixture screws

Holley carb (650 double pumper) Just swapped cams, is it a good idea to now reset/re-adjust my idle mixture screws since Im now obviously going to have different vacuum at idle? Car runs and drives fine still, just smells odd now. I dont have a good nose for the rich/lean but do have a vacuum...

    Thermostat testing

So after a cam swap, my car starts overheating. With car warm, upper radiator hose as well as lower radiator hose stone cold. Radiator as well, and heat stopped working. What's with Mustang oil filters?

I put the oil filter on previously by hand. Not even so much as a snug of the wrench and I just had to completely and utterly annihilate it to get it off. Had to do it the time before too. Anyone else with such luck?

    Gasket: Timing cover to block

Timing cover gasket to block, what's the consensus as far as adhesive? Dots of Hi-Tack yellow adhesive to hold it still/thin bead of rtv around coolant ports? I did this same thing about a year ago and was leak-free and now forgot what I used.
