    Cant figure out problem??? 87 5.0

    Still have problems!!!!!!

    I have a 87 5.0 speed density while back my car was runnin ok with cheapo ignition module(wells) then the connector harness shorted it out. replaced harness and module(Oreillys crap) and had popping exhaust and bad no matter where I set the timing... I know replaced it with a MSD...

    I have a 87 5.0 speed density car. At start up the car runs fine...then when nominal temp at full throttle at 4000-5500 rpm the exhaust is popping and lose power at every pop. the car has minor mods...exhaust..throttle body...fuel regulator..msd coil.. thats it for engine.. no computer...

    87 5.0 AOD Speed density.... I've never had it popping/burping sound from exhaust till after changing Ignition modules and replacing bad connector to module... It was really bad popping at 5 degrees base...I thought it might be lean condition....I bumped the timing to 10 to 11 degrees most...

    Rattle noise from engine at 5000 rpm?????
