    What is the flow calibration on a stock MAF?

    Anybody know what the flow calibration is on a GTs stock MAF? Reason I ask is because I am gearing up to cut the bottom off the sample tube as described here http://www.corral.net/tech/powerplant/mafgut.htm and I have heard that the MAF may not be calibrated to support a full 80mm of flow.

    i get the basic idea behind porting the maf but i cant see the real benefit here. seems to me you would get better return on the pipe/tb/intake than from porting the maf. but the is all bs and contemplation from me as i have no experience with either. 2cents
