    Hey sorry, I re-read that and should have written, when it is jumpered it stays running and doesn't struggle, like my old one did. But it doesn't stay on after it's primed. Sorry I totally see how you could have got that. I didn't bleed my fuel line, is that totally necessary?? Thanks!!

    Hey so when replacing my fuel pump and fuel filter, I dropped my tank, but it was in really rough condition, so I put an older tank, that was in really good condition from my last mustang that was in the shed up, and filled it back up with gas.     So it was a real pain in the a**! But I managed to get the current bracket modified so I can use the same hole for the old fuel level sensor. Cut my fingers up pretty good, but got it done! So its not a stock fuel pump its the 190lph unit which I think should be just fine for 30lb injectors...

    yes the swap is definitely still possible, I just wouldn't muck about with the wiring or the superior a9l computer from your 89. Just put the mass air meter from your 89 motor on your 87 motor when you put it in. And plug everything in. She should run better than it was in your 87 car.

    I does make sense to me that you would loose some psi as the pressure is probably relieved because the engine is using the fuel that's in the rail, so I assume why a slight drop is normal. But like a 15psi drop probably isn't normal. So thinking the fuel pump just needs to be able to keep up...
