Hey with data logging tuners can you pretty much get a good idea of horsepower. Just with data logging? Just curious?
HP with Datalogging? Tuning People?

Im tuning with an HP.... works great.
As for HP, I think it gives you a general idea of your hp range, but your gonna have to go to a dyno for better numbers.

that's cool, just curious. I understand for sure it could be off a bit. But it's probably more accurate then just guessing!
Well there are programs like eec analyzer that you can put in tire size etc., with that, if possible logs of engine rpm and mph/kph, etc. you would think you could better estimate horsepower.
Really when you think about it, what does a dyno do exactly. Like what does it measure, tire turns, speed of tires, torque, and other sensors maybe.
Just thought it was reasonable to assume that people who do real time data logging would probably be able to better estimate or come close to approx. combo hp with these tools. Rather than just a short sighted guess of what there combo makes in terms of hp.

if you have tuning software, and a wideband then technically you dont need a dataloger.
