  1. Belt Tensioner Question...

Hi, I was able to remove the serpentine belt with my hands, pull tensioner and remove. Does that mean the tensioner is weak/needs replaced? The pulley is loud as well other pulleys. Also the belt has a split at the last 2 ribs on it as well. Thoughts?

    Throttle Body Squeaking

Hey guys first time poster, 2003 GT owner I am getting a squeal when I just lightly tap the gas, that is the only time it squeals. No squeal when at idle. It sounds like it could be air whistling but its very high pitched and sounds like a squeak or squeal. I changed the belt and Idler pulley...

  7. Fox Alternator or smog pump is seized

I started up my 91 gt and the belt started squeaking and smoking, it's coming from around the alternator or the smog pump. I think one of them is seized. Anybody know how to tell if they're seized. And if there's any way to fix that. If it is the smog pump, can I just get a smaller belt or...
