My wife has an 02 with 17x9 bullits up front and 17x10.5 in rear, the front has 275-40-17 and the rear has 315-40-17. If she lowers it 2 inches will she have tire rub issues.

possibly but she would probably be ok. i had sportlines (-2") on my 95 with a 17x9 front wheel wrapped with 255/40/17s and i only slightly rubbed the inner fenders lock to lock. did not damage at all, just a little noise. you may have to flip the quad shocks in the rear tho to clear those 315s. rolling the rear quarters may be needed but i doubt it.

fwiw, my 00 is slammed with H&R SS springs and no front isolators. 18x9 fronts, 18x10 rears. 265/35/18s and 295/35/18s and NO rubbing whatsoever.

Thanks guys, she want to go 2 inches, I'm trying to talk her into either eibach sportlines or H&R. I dont know if they will take it down 2 inches but I"m sure it will look good.

Rubbing isn't usually a problem on rears since they're stationary. It the steering motion of the fronts that usually cause rubbing.

I had FRPP C springs (about 1.5" drop at the most) and 18x9 00 Cobra R's on my old 01 GT and they rubbed badly in the fron on hard turns.

I know have H&R SS' without iso's (about 2" drop) and stock 17x8 wheels up front on my current GT and there is no rubbing.

I have sportlines with ISos installed and I run 275 up front and 315 in the rear. Plenty of room outback actually wish I had a 335 in the rear. Now my 275 do rub up front ar partial to almost full lock. Kinda wish I had 255 up front
