I've searched through the website and the official wheel weight thread, but can't find the weight for 03-04 Chrome SVT Cobra Wheel(17X9).

I only found this

17x9" Cobra 03 satin - 25.5lbs
17x9" Cobra 03 chrome

I checked Ford Racing Website and they list the Satin wheel as 30lbs and the Chrome wheel as 35lbs.

Anyone know the wheel weight of 03-04 Chrome SVT Cobra?

My friend is getting a Cobra and he wants to sell me his rims.

If they are in good shape you should consider buying
them if you are looking for wheels for your car you will save money.
I remember reading somewhere that they weight.
Satin 03 Cobra 32 lbs.
Chrome 03 Cobra 34 lbs.

I didn't realize they were that heavy. And I was hesitant to get 21.5lb '98 cobra wheels for my car, the 03s are over 10lbs heavier? good god

twitch, you could always have your friend just weigh the wheel/tire and then compare it to the wheel/tire weight of your car to estimate how much rotating mass you'll be adding... yeah I know thats not very technical but oh well, just trying to help

Yes, I know, but his car is coming in this week or so. The reason why I want those rims is because of the 9 inch witdh so I can fit 275s all around. For the price he's asking, much cheaper that buying new wheels.

I'm still a bit concerned about the weight though

well if the price is right, just buy them. worst case scenario is you resell them and make some money Check out tirerack.com, they have the 03 cobra wheels on there w/ the weights too (I can't get on the site for some reason)

I just checked,

17X9 03-04 SVT Cobra Satin 25.0lbs so the chrome version shouldn't be heavier by a lot

Just found some other interesting wheel weights

17X8 99 SVT Cobra Satin/Chrome 22.5lbs
17X8 98 SVT Cobra Satin/Chrome 21.5lbs
17X8 Bullitt 22.lbs

I wish I had money for BBS RK 18X8.5 19lbs!

Buyfordracing.com has satin 99 cobra wheels for $88/ea I personally love 98 cobra wheels, and the fact that they are only 21.5lbs is an added bonus

..and 99 Cobra wheels are forged , but I'm looking for a 9 inch rim to fit 275s.

I know, just saying that I was shocked at how cheap they were! whats the benefit of a forged wheel, just higher strength right?

Are you a serious drag racer? I don't see any mods in your sig. If you don't race don't worry about the weight. The bling factor outweighs the weight factor . Try having 17x10.5 Chrome Cobra replicas. I weighed mine and they are 68#'s with 315 Nittos tires on. Talk about portly bastards.

Easy for you to say Mister KB

After finding out they are 25lbs, weight is no longer a concern. Now, I have to think if I want to spend the money on these wheels(I just got a new set of tires for my current Bullitts) or if I want to spend it on MM LCA and a throttle body.
