What would a person with a 2v GT or Mach 1 need to make a blower from 4v work on there car??? The blower on the harley looks like the blower in the FRMP Catalog. Both 4V and 2V are 4.6 modular so it most be a way you can swap the blower on the GT. It would be a big help for guy's that can't get a new blower. I see them going for $500 buck's used on svtperfomance. The only thing I can see is the port holes will be diffrent. But you can fix that with some porting. I know the blower from the Cobra is a M112 is that the same as the one on the Saleen????

i had 1 put on 99 cobra, similiar to mach 1 setup. The 03 donor car was there which was a good thing. Had to change upper intake pulleys, gas tank, inner bumper frame so the intercooler could bolt back up. Then some major tuning on diablo to make it all work. Your better off ponying up the cash fro an aftermarket kit. Fewer headaches, easier to tune. And youll have everyhing you need at once

Thank you for the imfo man But $500+ buck is hard to pass up for a blower and cooler. So you should be able to do it on a 2v Modular motor. Why did you have to change your gas tank??

I would be careful, that $500 may be a litte misleading. At $500 its probably just for the eaton blower that somebody switched out. If it includes the heat exchanger, thats a pretty good deal. Still, it probably does not include the actual intercooler that sits under the blower. Most guys keep that with a blower swap.

Gas tank may need switched to allow for swith to return/returnless fuel system, possible dual fuel pumps. You need bigger injectors, possibly bigger fuel rail. Different MAF calibrated for blower and more fuel. Ducts, hoses, pulleys, belts, brackets, etc.

Once you get it wedged in there, and actually get it running, you will need a good amount of custom dyno tuning to make sure you safe and have a good A/F ratio.

I'm not saying dont do it, it would be kinda cool. Just saying its probably not a money saving option when compared to an aftermarket blower upgrade kit that is complete and comes with a tech help phone number if you run into probs.

You do not have to change the tank up to about 360rwhp. Anything above that and you need the 2 pumps. Fuel rails will handle it, you'll need 42lb injectors though. I believe you are in for a long haul to get this to work. I have been there and it is not fun. Go with a 8psi Vortec and enjoy it.

Don't forget you'll need a new hood too! There are a LOT of little extra parts required for the blower swap BESIDES the blower itself. Everyone I've spoke to who has done this conversion stated it would have been cheaper and easier to purchase a ready made complete kit from Kenny Bell or Vortech instead...

Adapting the Eaton M112 to a 2V or Mach 1 4V would consist of quite a bit of fabrication. Some parts needed aren't manufactured and would have to be constructed on your own.....I believe.

if i had it to do over again id prolly go the k/b route. Mine was done by Krazy Koncepts. After it was done they told me it would cost the next guy twice as much And that wa a swap from a 2003 dohc to 99 dohc where all the parts bolted together. Going to a sohc you gonna be in for more challenge. But it would be cool if you could make it work Just think in long run youd be $$$ ahead to got with a procharger or something like that. If you want 100 hp undr $1k go with nitrous.
