'03 Cobra gets hot at idle

Any recent modifications before putting it away for storage or did you drain/refill the cooling system before putting it away in storage ? It's possible you could have a sticking/bad t-stat. Has it been sitting the past 3 years without being started up on a semi-regular basis ?

Have you run a cooling system pressure test ?


BTW - If you are draining coolant and refilling the cooling system, make sure you refill the 4v cooling system properly (there is a certain procedure to follow - always refill at the coolant crossover tube, via removing that 1/4 plug right in front of the alternator - run a search for further info on it btw).
