I have a 98 GT and as you know a 5 year old could beat my car on his tricycle. I was for a while thinking about building the 2v under the hood but decided it'd be easier and better just to do a 01-03 cobra motor swap. Id really like to get the 03 cobra motor under the hood. What peripherals will i have to change to get it working? such things like electrical or ecu, or suspension.

High emissions output.

Ideally supposed to take it and leave it on the race track only. It's only way for a company to get around the legalities of selling an 'illegal' engine to a consumer who will obviously drive it on the street anyway. They're just not responsible for what the end user does with it.

Same with "offroad" mid pipes.

Just get a forged and built long block for a 99+ gt and pop on either a pi intake or a bullit intake and get a vortech jt-trim or a paxton novi 2000 and get either a SCT tune or a EFI solutions tune. Good exhaust with long tubes.

A good forged 4.6 short block will cost you $2,600-$4,200
Heads will cost you $1,600 to $2,000
Cams $450 to $600
Exhaust will cost you $500-$1200
Tune will cost you $300-$600
Supercharger kit will cost you $3,000-$5,500

I didn't really include labor on all those prices, it just gives you an idea
Prices include what route you choose. But that combo will give you a ton more power than a stock 03 cobra will or even a bolt on 03 cobra with the stock eaton s/c.
