Hey 05-06 Saleen guys...Do the sideskirts on your cars line up exactly or close to exactly??? Mine stick out like about a half an inch or so...It kinda looks like they don't fit...

All of the 05 and up cars are like that. Saleen has a lousy excuse about Ford tolerances and that every car is not the same so they have to manufacture that part long. Sounds like they are pointing the finger if you ask me. Even though the design is a bit different than the foxbody or Sn95 cars it's still unacceptable to me.

I agree. I don't see how in this day and age of modern production that Saleen can say there is up to 1/2 inch tolerance on each Mustang.

I could see 1/16, or even an 1/8..but 1/2"...Ridiculous, and looks like *****

I have yet to single car that does not have some sideskirt overhang for either the front or rear wheel well, so the "Ford tolerances" excuse does seem like pure BS. Especially considering the basic design of the sideskirts on the 05-07s seems fundamentally the same as prior body models.

This is one of the only things that annoys me about my car. I wonder if the skirts can be adjusted to split the 1/2" overhang between the front and rear wheel wells, so there will be only about 1/4" for the front and rear wheel wells? Has anyone tried this?

While reading another forum, it occured to me no one has complained about the Parnelli Jones fitment, they seemed to have it right on that car!

Most likely there are not enough of them out there yet or the guys that own those cars a first time Saleen owners and overlook everything.
