Just saw the new GT at the Atlanta Auto show......WOW..... The pictures really don't do it justice. Standing next to it reminded me of my 65 Stang, it seemed to have the same proportions. This was the same red one as mentioned earlier with the poorly repaired chip on the front bumper. I actually heard someone ask the speaker "Hey, what is this?" Someone just crawled out from under a rock.
Did anyone else notice the louvers near the headlight similar to the ones on the 65-66's, or am I just slow? I never saw them in the pics just noticed them while looking at the car today. Man, that thing would look good with a set of hood pins on it.

Yea, it was one fine looking automobile! I think its just begging for Shelby stripes, or a shaker hood... That silver Ford GT was awsome...

Did you see that monster truck Toyota had? WTF was that???
You mean they had other vendors there? You couldn't tell by looking at the Ford display. Was there anyone around the new Vette when you were there? It was empty. I do have to say that the Crossfire is an awesome car for that price range.... almost makes it a tough choice between that and the Mustang.

I didn't much even notice the vette... The GM area was just too depressing to hang around in...absolutely zero innovation going on there, with the possible exception of the Caddy convertible, but its not my thing anyway.

Dodge is definitely going to be a player. They have alot of style and they're not afraid of putting some power down.

Ford has it over all the competition, when comparing equal classes. Comparing the Mustang to the SL500 isn't an equal comparison, although some boneheads were trying their best to get that debate going.
