The '05 Roush Stage 2 has 20k miles and they're asking $20000 for it. The '04 Mystic Cobra has 44k miles and they're asking $25000 for it (has a few things done to it like exhaust, chip, tune, etc.)

If you had the choice between the two, which would you buy and why? Which do you think will hold its value better in the long run?

Thanks!

Or the third choice is a '03 Saleen S281 with 27k miles for $23000. I'm buying one of these 3 cars tomorrow so I need opinions quick!

Go Mystic or go home.

IMO, a grass roots SVT straight from FoMoCo, will hold its value better than most aftermarket nameplates over time. It's hinted at in the very price tags you are tossing around in your example.

Termi FTMFW!!!!
The S197 is more civilized but the power and handling of a properly modded 03/04 Cobra is damn hard to beat IMO. When you are in third doing 60 and roll on it till it hits the floor and at 90 the tires break loose..... its just a killer feeling

TERMINATOR seems to me all of your options here were made to compete against the 03.04 cobra. At least shelby went out to beat the other compeditors

MYSTIC COBRA!!!!!

I personally do not like Roush's unless it's a stage 3. There really isn't much to the stage 1 or 2 besides the fact that a guy that used to be in the Mustang club back home would just brag, brag, BRAG about his stupid stage 2. It got so annoying that I now hate roush stage 2's.

But, Mystic Cobra's are hard to find. They didn't make that many "mystics". I suggest looking up that info online and I'm sure you will be pleased at the numbers.
