New guy, looked but didnt find any threads. My thoughts are I have an 05 PU with a 4.6. My 05 Mustang has the v6. So what does it all entail to do this swap? What are the issues associated with this? Actually I thought this would be a very common thing but apparently not. I intend on some upgrades on the V8, although its already a gutsy MF if its the same as my reg daily driver PU. So any ideas or info is appreciated. Tnx

I don’t know fully-but I would think the only parts you could use from the truck would be the short block and the transmission. Everything else you would have to source from a GT (I.e. intake-timing cover-manifolds/headers-serpentine setup-cluster-computer-harnesses-mounts-crossmember-ecm to name a few.)
