i went to the track, but was disapointed at my 1/4 mile times. i know there are lots of factors that are keeping me from going faster, but im currious to know what times other guys are running with a stock stall C4.

i ran a 14.8sec at 94mph,
so at least i got myself into the 14s from the 16s i ran a while back

a mechanical carb, lower gears, and slicks would deffinitly help

what was your 60' time and your 1/8 time and mph?

also, edelbrocks are mechanical secondaries

i ran a 15.3 at 93
stock heads, 2.8 gear, 204 intake at .050
my carb bogs - 2.55 60'

i think you ran a good time for having ps and ac
and lower gears will probably hurt your mileage

That's a very good time for 2.80 gear and stock heads, I barely did a 15.3 with 3.40 gears, and higher duration cam.

I have yet to try out my new motor, but I'm hoping for 14's with the 2.8 gear.
