Hey Everyone,
I'm planning on purchasing the trick flow 170's heads from Summit since they're on sale for $999 right now.
They use 3/8 stud mounted rockers. I'm want to go with 1.7's, but I'm not sure which rockers arms to go with.
I'm wondering if you guys have any input on brands? The trick flow ones give you $20 summit bucks back...so I was thinking about those.
Just for comparison, how would these comp cams ones stack up? I've heard that you lose a little power with the heaver steel ones...but I'm not too concerned about that. Would these ones work though? They say rail, but they'll fit up to 1989 (which is the year that I have)COMP Cams 1450-16 - COMP Cams Magnum Steel Roller Tip Rocker Arms - Overview - SummitRacing.com
Btw, I have a stock camshaft for now...but will probably be upgrading to something mild like a Comp Cams XE264 in the future.
Thanks for your help!
