hey guys/girls
i was putting my car back together and put the RR's back on and the pushrods in and tightened them down, but the pushrod on the passenger side closest to the firewall i can wiggle it around and i can rock the RR back and forth just the slightest amount....just enough to make a clicking noise....

what shold i do?

all the rest seem to be just fine...

How does it measure in lenght compared to the others??? or swap that to another cyl and see if the same thing happens...that would tell you that PR may be bad???

In addition to what Andy said, also check the hole where the rocker bolt goes in and see if there is something stopping it from seating all the way down. I had a little bur in one of my heli-coils in my AFR heads that was just enough to make one rocker not preload as much as the others, it was a simple fix though.

Mike, get an oil pump priming tool and prime the oil system, it is the same price as set of lower intake gaskets and I feel its a must have tool for working on our cars. You can prime the oil system and the lifters will pump up with oil. If it doesn't this will tell you that you may have a bad lifter.
