hey stangnet just had a question. Anyone running the wheel spacers off American muscle. I just ordered some last night for my 97 gt and after looking at my car today, it seems like when i lower it, that the tires may rub the fender. Has anyone experienced this, or any other problems with them? Thanks:nice:

Can anyone help me to explain how the stock studs dont hit the back of the wheel's mounting surface? On 1" spaces dont the studs go past the spacer and hit the wheel unless your wheel have recesses already there?

Edit:
Well actually, the stock studs have to be flush or at least close to flush for the spacers even to work on most wheels - so i think i'm in the clear since my wheels dont have a flat mounting surface anyways, there's about 2mm of space where the stock studs can clear:

I used them for a while and only had a little trouble with tire rub. I have Eibach springs and I had 17x9 with Kumho 275/40x17, (when I switched to BFGs I had to ditch the spacers...)

BUT, the spacers aren't gunna work with those wheels, there has to be some open space between the mounting holes for the axle studs to go...the studs are maybe 1/2" or more above the surface of the spacers when the spacers are mounted (I hope that makes sense)

Yeah, that does make sense - which is why i was worried. But if you watch this video:

They almost look flush. I guess some people have to cut some off?
