My friend has a vortec with power pipe running 10lbs. I am considering in the future to purchase a nitrous kit running a 100 shot. Should I be able to hang with him on the track with driver mod and traction? Both 03 GT's 5spd.
You didn't mention any other modifications done to either car... but with no other modifications to either you'll still be far behind with a 100 shot.
However, if you ran drag radials and sprayed off the line, and he was trying to hook street tires, you'd make it a challenge for him to hunt you down. That'd be a fun race to watch.
Yes...I figured with the extra torque with the spray I would be able to hold him off close to the end of the quarter with good drag radial. I bet he would start pulling on the top thou.
