Anyone know of good cars for sale? A buddy of mine is looking to buy, he started a thread over at the Corral on it. http://forums.corral.net/forums/mus...letely-built-riot-machine-up-$15k-budget.html

Ill sell him myne for 20K

Tell him if he wants to keep the white collar clean to buy something else, or learn how to spin a wrench unless he wants to excercise his hand opening a wallet at a performance shop

The white one is not built up enough for him and the turbo car is not for sale.

Competitor? I wasn't aware there was some sort of rivalry. If this post is against the rules please go ahead and delete, I did not make it with the idea of causing trouble.

This guy wants to buy and take it to a jiffy lube? Honestly i read the other thread and wouldn't part with my fox if i had one. Sounds like ho woke up one day with a hard on for a fox. Maybe he doesn't understand the culture. If i sold my "turnkey" project for less than what i invested it would surely go to someone who knew how to spin a wrench or had a love for the car. Not a white collar person who couldn't change their own windshield wipers.

Imagine seeing this guy at a Hess station pumping REGULAR into your old 93 octane turbo charged car. Because hes clueless and thinks all gasolines are the same regardless of brand or octane.

Or putting mystery oil in from some giant vat at a chain oil change place.

:::C R I N G E:::

Sorry it just bothered me.

I never understand these types of "requests", what is so difficult about searching around a few enthusiast sites, craigslist, or ebay and finding something that you actually want instead of relying on someone else to tell you what you want? Just tell him to go buy a brand new stang with a warranty so he doesn't have to worry about maintaining it and leave the foxes to people who care for them.

Hell, if I'm selling my car to someone who has the money I want for it...I don't care if he changes the oil again as long as he's alive. No longer my issue. If I stayed up worrying about every car I ever sold I'd never sleep

I've been seeing more requests like this. Guys who were teens when the fox came out now can finally afford to get their second crack at one. Kinda why prices have been creeping up.

I agree with that, but i also think this guys is in for a very rude awakening if he thinks he will get a high HP fox that is dependable all the time... I dont see it happeneing. These are 20 year old cars that require attention at some point or another even if they are stock. I think the dude should just buy an 03-04 cobra, or something that will run good with minimal bolt ons.

Plus, every time i get out of my fox i smell like gas, Im sure babyhands over there wouldnt wanna stink after getting out of his hotrod
