15x10 wheel on my 87?

mustangs unlimited has those to weld wheels that are 15x10. the draglight wheels has a 6 1/2in backspacing and the rodlight wheel has a 4 1/2 backspacing. will these wheels fit with out a mini tub? im taking myquad shocks out and im prepared to rol the fenders if i have to but whats the difference in the backspacing, would one stick out further then the other? also, what size drag radial could i run on that wheel without rubbing? thanx

15 X 10's can fit but be prepared to get out the sledge hammer and start beating the inner fender well as well. The 6 1/2" BS would be the wheel you would want to use as the 4 1/2" BS will leave your rim sticking out past the fender quite a bit.

I've had them with 5.5" and 6.5" BS, and the 6.5" definitely fits better, I think it's about as tight a fit as you can go. It does require some hammering on the inside of the fenderwells and you'll probably want to roll your fenderlips as well. No way around that with a big tire.
