I am about ready to purchase a set of 18 inch Roush Chromies, and am curious if I will have any problems fitting them on a 99 Gt convertible. Will the wheels rub on the walls when I turn? Are there other issues I need to consider before purchasing these rims. I know nothing about tires, or rims for that matter. I do know my car has 17 inch O.E. Rims on it currently, and they don't rub at all. Any information will help a ton, and thanks in advance!

We need more info!!! What size tire will you be using? How wide are the wheels?

If you had 245/45/17's before you can have 18's with 245/40/18 tires and be pretty close to the same. And if the 17's fit no problems then the 18's will fit no problem. But if you went with a 295/30/18 which is less than half an inch taller but 2 inches wider, you could run into some problems turning.

Oh it feals like a dog compared to my moded 2000, but it is fun to drive. The 210HP 5.0 is running strong with 210K miles. Its all stock but sounds nice with a decent exhaust, and can easilly slide rear end out coming out of corners. Its gonna be sick with 300+ HP, gears, suspension, and brakes. :nice:
