I need help with rim sizes for a 93 fox mustang (I know the fender wells were enlarged or something in the later fox years)

anways, I'm converting to 5 lug using sn95 spindles and axles,
can I fit 18x9 ?

If so; any idea what backspacing and offset I need?

AND, if I should go 17" because it's too much work to get the 18" to not rub, can you tell me what BS and offset for those would be running 9" both front and back?

you should be able to run an 18x9 with 6.5 to 6.75 backspacing on both the front and rear use a 235 in the front and a 245 or bigger in the rear

I have Y2K cobra R's and they are 18x9 in the front and 18x10 in the rear. I run 245/40/r18 up front and 275/40/r18 in the rear and they don't rub. I have 6" back spacing.

Most all of the stock type wheels like bullitts,fr500,cobras or whatever the aftermarket companies are making as an 18" have a 5.95-6.125 backspace and a +24 offset. They fit fine on a sn95 swap. Just gotta get your tire sizes right. Saw your car in Mustang Enthusist,GREAT JOB
