180 thermostat question w/Diablo programmer

If i have a 180 thermostat installed, what temp should i programm the fans to come on and what temp should i have them turn off at?? They told me today to have the fans come on at 190 and off at 180 with the stock thermostat but with a 180 thermostat how would that change? Thanks

I'll bump this one back to the top because I've been thinking of stepping my thermo down a notch also and wondered how you can program the fans to kick on and off.

This works pretty good on mine.

fan_high_speed_ECT1_on = 195
fan_high_speed_ECT2_on = 200
fan_high_speed_ECT_off = 190
fan_low_speed_ECT_off = 181
fan_low_speed_ECT_on = 187

I'm not using anything right now. My question is, if I put in a 180' thermo, do I have to reprogram the fans to kick on at that temp. If so, what is the process or computer needed??

If is not imperative to change the fan settings but if you want to you will need either a custom chip or a flash tuner like the diablo programmer.
