I'm going to order 18x9 wheels for the front of my car and 18x10 for the rear. I was thinking about running 255/40 up front and 275/40 out back. Is this a good size? If not, please tell. Also, if you think you have a better tire set up with 18 inch wheels, can you post pictures so I can see it?

BTW, my car isn't lowered and I have no intentions to lower it in the near future.

I agree, the wheels are not made in a 17" size so it was 18"s or nothing. I am happy with the look. With that said if there were 17"s I would surely have them instead.

Love the Drift wheels, Grover. Something about silver wheels on Reef Blue just looks so right.

Why such a hatred of 18's? They're aren't like the 20 or 22's I've seen on new musclecars.... I'm quite happy with my 18's.

I would much rather have 17's than 18's but I can't find the wheels I want in a 17. But, Grover your car looks awesome. It is stock ride height?

No, there is very little stock left on my car. I run coil-overs all the way around.

Dang. Oh well.

http://www.latemodelrestoration.com...-Mustang-Chrome-Saleen-Wheel-Tire-Kit-18X9-10

The tire sizes seem really wide on this kit, and heard that on the rear you have to roll the inner fender to give enough room for a tire after a certain size. Is that just for lowered cars or can I fit these just fine under my stock height car?
And I assume I may also have some rubbing issues on the front when I turn all the way due to the wide wheel and tire?

275's up front normally take a good bit of work to make fit, not worth it to me.

I like 1992Hatch's car with 18"s. Why all the hatred?
I'm going to hijack his pictures he just posted over in his paint thread. Everyday I have to talk him out of painting them because he keeps asking me
