I like 1992Hatch's car with 18"s. Why all the hatred?

One thing to consider when purchasing rear wheels this wide is the clearance.
The rear moves under side load and from experience using rims and tires more narrow, it will likely take a panhard bar to keep from rubbing around turns.
I'm pretty sure groverdill has the entire MM catalog, so it's probably not an issue for him.
I run an 8.5 with a 275 drag radial and i had to buy panhard bar. Which sounds so simple, but it isn't, because most lx exhaust kits don't fit properly with one. The kit's that do fit are another $450.
My advice, if your pockets aren't deep, just run the 9's in the rear with a 265 tire.
The center cap won't work.Why does it say these won't fit the front of fox bodies with 94-04 5 lug conversion. They're 18X9 with a +22mm offset. They will work.

I'm not running newer spindles. The kit I got has the Mark VII style front rotorsI don't see why not. The 94-04 spindles have the small dust cover cap. Those spindles allowed ALL wheel center caps to fit unlike the Mark VII conversion kits. Those rotors made many factory 17x8 wheels not work. Are you sure that's the reason? With a +24mm offset I would have thought they said no cause they'll be sitting out at the fender a lot. 18x9 FR500 wheels have a +22mm offset which is only 2mm difference. This means the Drift wheels will have .10 more backspacing and sit into the fender well more. They might be worried about rubbing when turning...but with 94-95 or 96-04 spindles, you're pushing the wheel outward anyways. I think they're wrong on their info.
