1965 2+2 Door Glass Removal

Does anyone know of a good link for step by step on how to remove the door glass? I am starting with the drivers door vent window and removed 2 upper and 2 lower (3 nuts+ 1 bolt) and the vent is loose but won't come out. Does the main window have to come out first? Anyone have step by step? Sorry for such a newbie question.

Yes, door glass first. THe vent frame will slide to the rear an inch or so once the door glass is out of the way, and is lifted vertically. You will see that there are other holes in the door frame that appear to be useless, but they will allow you to remove and reinstall the adjuster bolts.
To get the door glass out, look at the rear of the door, pull the rubber seal off to expose one of the brackets. THere should be an allen head bolt-loosen but do not remove-the bracket should slide sideways. Once all the other points are loose, you should be able to work the glass out of the door. It will not be easy to do unless you have done a few. Take you time to avoid damage. It is usually a very tight fit even with everything loose.
