You can see Dynacorn didnt leave me much to weld at the roof to wind shield opening ,but it works and everything fits

Those welds across the windshield look like mig.
Why not the spot welder?

Well with a 107 outside temp maybe the panels will just melt together on their own.

Other than having to drill holes for plug welding and having to grind the welds after ,the mig is almost as fast as a spot welder ,a whole lot lighter ,the spot welder weighs almost 30 pounds and after just a few welds it is hard to hold up

Its a really good feeling when you can see the bottom of your box of parts and there is nothing left ...and nothing missing !
It took me all day to ad in all the little brackets for mounting the fiberglass,i had forgoten about .

The last of the welding finished ,all the welds ground and it is ready to go to the painter . Now i can start on the 65

There is a total of $6,800 . In this one ,the body cost me $800 so it is a reachable thing.

I made all the interior trim panels for the 67 conversion ,i have the molds for 65 -66 also ,so i will not have to hunt down interior pieces

They are a little old but still make a pretty nice part ,i am working on new molds ,a press mold that will make panels just like originals

I havent been able to work on my 65 ,just to much work going on to mess with mine .
I did get an up date on the 67 though ,it is getting painted now ,looks like vintage burgundy

Got one more update ,body is painted ,will have to get more pics . For those that bad mouth Dynacorn sheet metal ,there is no bondo here ,just block sanding and paint and a buff ,i very seldome have any problems with Dynacorn metal .

Wow looks flawless. I’ve found a roof to use with most of the framing pieces except a couple. Wouldn’t happen to have any laying around would you?
