I have found the turn signal flasher, I heard the unit may be behind the glove box and that IO would have to remove the glovebox to get at it...does that sound right?

I would like to find out where where i could expect to see it in my 68, before I go taking things apart...

On both of mine it was just behind the stereo near the column. The PO's had cut or splice into the orange/yellow wire for constant power to the stereo.
