Hi,

I have been looking everywhere for the right carburetor for my 1968 I6 Mustang. I found a re-manufactured one on summit racing (link) that says it is compatible but I am a little apprehensive buying it as the photo appears slightly different than the one that is currently on the car now.

Hoping someone here would be willing to point me in the right direction for which carburetor I need and links would be greatly appreciated.

More info: Car bought in Denver, CO originally but will be registered in CA once running.

Why not rebuild that one? Soak it in some good carb cleaner first then the rebuild is fairly easy.
If you want to buy from Summit then I wouldn't hesitate cause they have the best return policy of anybody I've ever dealt with. They will pay the return for 90 days without any problem even if you just ordered the wrong item and are at fault.

As long as you get the inside gunk cleaned out especially in all the little passages the rest is easy and the rebuild kits are fairly cheap. Any problems and someone here can help.
