Hello to all. I have recently purchased a 1968 mustang coupe to restore. It’s a little rough around the edges but nothing that can’t be fixed. I was thinking about changing the paint color but also want to know if the current paint is desirable. Does anyone know how many 1968 mustang coupes were made with Highland green paint? Thanks in advance~~~ Daniel

Honestly, unless its a High Country Special, California Special, or a few other models...coupes are the least valuable of the mustangs. This is all well and good(I have only ever owned coupes myself...I just like how they look more than fastbacks and convertibles) the point is that when it comes to coupes, unless you have something special, you are far better off building it to suit you than doing a concours restoration. If its an A-code or a K-code coupe I would consider a restoration...otherwise I would build it and paint it to suit. At the high end coupes might bring $20,000...more likely $15,000 with good paint and no rust.
