I have a 1970 Mach1 that originallt came with a rear sway bar. I want to install a 3/4" sway bar so I ordered one from NPD. When I recieved the sway bar, it said that it mounts different from an original. It looks like you have to relocate the bushings on the frame rails. It comes with u-bolts that insert into the frame rail so the bushings can be installed to hold the bar. The end links mount on the frame rail and not on the original sway bar mount plate. Has anyone done this install with an aftermarket sway bar? Does all this sound correct? I called NPD and they do not really know and it is hard to describe over the phone. Thanks.
