Internal waste gates work just like external, you control the boost level by using a controller on them.

this one is internally gated and even has a one year unlimited mile warranty. only $400

Back to Wheezer status.

Only this time with a Chinese turbo, a good waste gate, a Chinese bov, and my old water meth system.
Pressurizing a glass top box, sitting on top of 6 itb's.

This was done for resale. W/o boost, the car would never commmand any kind of decent money. With boost, if and when I sell it, it'll be powerful enough so as not to detract from what the car might be worth.

BTW this is going to require a complete and total retune of the entire engine.... Your cant boost in ITB mode there is no way to reference higher load with boost since it uses TPS only at WOT.

I can do it though i worked it over last night, just going to have to get creative with fuel mapping.... We will actually have to build 2 fuel maps that overlay each other, one for speed density and one for Alpha-N. The car will have to be tuned first with the turbo blowing off into the atmosphere [tune the alpha-n table] then once the turbo is hooked up we tune the SD table so it can add fuel based on load value. This tune may take a bit to get correct but nothing we cant handle.

Well now you know you can always ride along in the monster in phantom mode. I upped my data plan to unlimited so now I’m like a Honey Badger.......

I just don’t care.

I just hope that turbo is up to the task...chinee t4 version of my old one w/o the built in 90 degree housing bend.
And without the twin scroll turbine housing....

There is nothing “glued together” about my engine......unless you’re talking about the plate that runs down the side. And that’s only there to make the engine block wide enough to seal the head from potential oil leaks.

As far as who knows what they’re looking at otherwise if I ever sell it.......

It gets here Monday maybe. I wish there was a way to check these things other than just putting them on, and having them explode. The one good thing is that this is a fair weather driver at best. If it holds up through the rest of the year, then what can I say,.......it's fully half the price of the BW piece that i had.

Intercooler??? I'm plumbing that btch straight off of the turbo into the air box, and spraying water meth into the inlet at the front of the air box.

Tune update for you i think i came up with a complete work around.... just added an extra fuel table that will act as a multiplier table when you go into boost, should not affect the rest of the tune a single iota. Second Ignition table is based on boost as well and will act as a[n] adder table, so when you go into boost negative numbers in this table will remove timing from the WOT curve we already have tuned.
bahahaha and the internet says it cant be done, If this works i can officially set my chair up so i can look at everyone sitting in their box.

We should be able to start right where we left off. Boost duty produced 12 psi IIRC, the water meth kit was triggered at the onset of boost,...whatever came in the kit is going back in..it worked.

This time around I'll let the gate dictate boost ( 7psi) it was dead on the last time, and it'll be the exact same TurboSmart gate.
Also,...This time around, I have a tighter ring end gap...set for NA....cannot afford too many rattles like last time

Copy that, We can go slow and make sure the tables work the way i think they will. If they do we can simply duplicate the timing from the last tune while in boost.
