Nope, but up against white, what difference will it make? As long as I use the same "gold" that I used on the wheels w/ a black base under it, It'll match. So you are telling me that's the same gold?

That's what I was thinking.....even tho I'm not a big fan of the "green-gold" color. It kinda reminds me of my buddy's Ivy Gold(factory color) '68 Mustang fastback. Its more of a goldish green tho.Nope, but up against white, what difference will it make? As long as I use the same "gold" that I used on the wheels w/ a black base under it, It'll match.
That's awesome, I have a set of bullets I want to paint black and you just painted your black ones.....lol. What's the best way to mask off the polished lip? I was actually thinking of using some 1/4 inch mask and then following it up with something wider.
I think we will have to see the Mad Mike proof of concept before anyone is comfortable with "The Vision". I've been following your crazy ideas over a few years now and some how you keep pulling out some sort of mojo and making them work. I will admit that if I was not on vacation I would have hung a photo of a mustang with gold 24s on this post.
Thanks for the input. I always appreciate the comments, even if they feature pimp my ride suggestions, or elders from the Church of What's Happenin' Now.I think I like the idea of the 2-tone base idea. OOOOOORRRRR........maybe spray a gold pearl clear on the wheels to bring out more gold. *DISCLAIMER* I'm not a body or paint man. I'm just making logical, but uneducated on the subject ...suggestions.
I like the graphics, have you considered any darker greens? Maybe like khaki green on the bottom, that greenish gold on top-and an orange stripe/pin stripe to divide the two colors?
