It's hard to tell in the photos but it's bright orange!!
Yesterday morning I dropped the Mustang II off to have the headliner installed and picked it up today,

Doing a Google search and come across a sister thread on another forum that reminded me of this car. Wonder how Rusty is getting along nowadays? Maybe we'll get an update soon.... (insert "fingers crossed" emoji here)
I'm sorry I haven't been on the forum for a while. We have started a YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@gillisrestorations and have a lot of build photos of this and other projects. I have taken it to a few shows even though it's wasn't finished. We towed it the Mustang II reunion at the Ga. mountain fairgrounds a few years ago. It's back at the shop and we are rebuilding a 302 now for it. I have a new 3.50 gear installed and the AOD has been rebuilt.
We have been busy rebuilding the engine from my old 1988 Lincoln Mark VII

Stock exhaust manifolds for a Mustang II. From what I have read they don't make any good headers for Mustang II.
I bought used heads, intake, and distributor from one of my employees, to help him out. I don't know remember what that were.What heads did you go with? Those exhaust ports look a little larger than stock....
Edit: I misread the post and thought it said you rebuilt the engine for the Mark, not from the Mark....
