1986 GT Moldings On 87-93 HELP

How can you get the 1986 "GT" moldings on a 1991? I have some now, but they seem to be to thin. I want to put them on i just dont know how. Like how could you make them thicker? IS there a plastic backing plate or something? any help

sorry buddy, you don't. 85/86 gt mouldings are completely different than the 87 mouldings, and would never look right even if you put them on. To get them to fit correctly, you'll need to swap on the door and fender and quarter panel mouldings, then swap on an 86gt front bumper cover and rear bumper cover.
