i am going to look at a notch tomorow here is what it has and a little info.

1988 FORD MUSTANG, 95K mi, ps, tilt, p/windows, tint, am/fm, E303 cam, alum D shaft, new Cobra clutch, BBK polished headers, per. h-pipe, 3.73s, new posi, Mass air conversion, 255lph bbk fuel pump, needs minor work/paint, runs great, $2,995 obo,

i got the guy down to 2000.the two problems are these

1.tranny has a small leak at the seal where the driveline goes in the tranny.
2.headlights have a prob.(hopefully you guys could help me).when u pull the switch to the parking lights the parking lihgts will go on but when u pull it to the headlights they wont.but they go on when he connected the wire from the lights straight to the battery.and all the other lights work fine.so i dont know what the problem could be

i know i posted this already but i dont want to make a mistake.and im gonna see if i can bring him down anymore when i get there.thanks

I had that problem with my headlights on my 92. Plus, i found out while on the way to getting it inspected. go figure.

It turned out to be my headlight switch. I've heard those go bad pretty frequently. When the switch is in the on posittion for the headlamps, try wiggling it. THat worked for me sometimes. I eventually got a new switch...but just to see if that is it.

Good luck!

this can be all the difference in the world , and what state would this be in?

in cali a notch like that will sell for $5k

but it will have never ever had any rust on it.

but minor work ??? be more specific

i'd buy it....you could never buy any running 5.0 in cali for $2k much less a notch

I paid that for my first stang, but it has less as far as mods. I personally perfer mechanically work rather than body work since i can do most mechanical things myself (or at least i can learn). Body work is another story. Sounds like a good deal though, and the headlight thing shouldn't worry you, i'm sure it can be fixed cheaply.

DUDE! Just go buy the damn thing so you can stop making new posts about if you should buy it or not. I realize you want to be confident in your decision but this is like the 5th NEW thread you have started asking the same question.

My bad, I was way off but thats still four by my bad math. I mean you are one redundantly redundant fuqnutt. You have three new threads with the exact same content. It looks like you copied the text straight out of the previous thread and changed the title. And its all stuff that belongs in the first thread. Why not just bump the original thread or add to it?! You are welcome to think its poeple like me that make this place suck but I'm sure there are plenty of others that will agree with me on this one. I was just razzin ya dude but the point was valid.

...and a dancin' bananna just because
