so i am doing a weaterpump/tstat etc on my car.. couple of quick Q's doesnt look like there is any need, but is there a need to put thread seelant on any of the water pump bolts?
so im doing this job and have the front of the car apart.. and i got a set of underdrive MR gasket pulleys with my car, i figured ide throw um on.. my car is pretty much stock except intake and exhaust..and a factory stereo system.. think ill have any problems running this underdrive kit? also the waterpump pulley i took off is super light weight alluminum and exactly the same diameter as the one that came in the underdrive kit, i dont see why i wouldnt use the original one vs the one that came in the kit thats much heavier, except it doesnt look as nice.. any reason to not re-use the aluminum one?
thanks guys...
this stang is almost finally mechanically ready. to hit the road for the first time in 3 years.. then i get to get it ready for some paint..
