i drove the car for a good 45 minutes going around town and while going along the engine backfires twice but then runs fine. i slowed down to check things but it ran normaly. i get to where im going, park it, come bak to it an hour later and when i tried to start it up it wouldnt respond to throttle, it kept cutting off, and it would backfire. i have had fuel pumps go bad on me before and this is nothing like that. i also have 160-170psi on all cylinders so i dont think its a head gasket either. also all of the plugs looked normal. the car is stock besides headers, no cats, x-pipe, flowmaster mufflers, bbk cold air intake and tremec 3550 trans. any help or advice to what this problem could be would be greatly appreciated because its driving me crazy
