1990 question about a "beeping"

i recently bought a 1990 mustang w/ V8. problem is that sometimes when im driving around it starts beeping from some where under the dash and will sometimes continue for the whole trip. it drives me insane. any one know what it is, or where it is comming from if i could just disconnect it? it also beeps when i first start the car. thanks.

Is it the door chime beeping? Where is it comming from under the dash? Locate the source.

It's the damn air bag. There is a problem somewhere. Once the air bag light blows out, the beeping will take the place of it. You can diagnose the problem by counting the number of beeps and the interval of the beeps. There is a link to a page that tells you what all the codes mean that I can't seem to find. Maybe someone else has the link.

I know, it's annoying.

That has to be really innoying, is there any pattern to the beeps or are they random?
